Public Consultation

RCA has a long track record of public consultation work, including preparing and running exhibitions and interactive events, as well as postal and web-based consultations. We prepare and attend one-to-one meetings with key stakeholders and neighbouring landowners to establish exactly what the issues are. We collect and analyse feedback and then produce Statements of Community Involvement which explain what feedback was received and what will be done in response. 

We are not a PR firm and are not there to change people’s minds. We will, however, help you to communicate the facts effectively and ensure that respondents have a fair chance to make their points, as well as recommending changes to a scheme in these early stages. 

We genuinely enjoy meeting the public and discussing development proposals, even if they are met with initial objections, because we firmly believe that public participation in the planning process is helpful for everyone.
