RCA Regeneration were instructed to the prepare and submit a planning application for 14 residential units on the edge of a rural settlement within Malvern Hills District Council’s administrative boundary. RCA Regeneration worked proactively at pre-submission stage, presenting details of the project to the Parish Council and liaising with local representatives on the content of the proposal. Despite the Local Planning Authorities initial concerns regarding drainage, RCA Regeneration were able to successfully demonstrate that the proposal complied with the relevant legislation and positively contributed to delivery of sustainable development. Subsequently MHDC gave a resolution to grant planning permission subject to completion of a S106; a process in which RCA Regeneration currently negotiation with the relevant authorities.
