RCA Regeneration first achieved permission for a 25MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on land south of Fraserburgh in 2018. RCA were later instructed to submit and manage a revised application, to increase the project to 45MW. We successfully submitted the application and negotiated an approval in 2023.
