Forge Close, Caerleon

RCA successfully secured outline planning permission for 16 no. affordable homes on an underutilised industrial site in Caerleon, Newport. The redevelopment of the site will comprise the demolition of the existing industrial sheds and remediation of the contaminated site, to facilitate the construction of up to 16 no. affordable homes. Following submission of the application, RCA worked enaged with the Council and partnered with a local Housing Association to bring forward the proposals. During the determination of the application, issues surrounding air quality impact and highways were overcome, resulting in an officer recommendation for approval.
