Heath Lane, Shenstone

RCA represented local residents by submitting an objection to the proposed development at Heath Lane, Shenstone. The proposal was for change of use from agricultural land to a travelling show people site with storage and accessibility to accommodate 10 HGVs and 16 domestic vehicles. The objection was based on the grounds that the site was immediately adjacent to the Madinatul Uloom Al-Islamyia School, in addition to its existence within the Greenbelt. As a result, the planning application was withdrawn and RCA were successful in their objection. RCA were instructed further to object again to a resubmission application by the applicants which included further additional information relating to transport and ecology. The application is still being considered by Wyre Forest District Council and is yet to go before the Planning Committee. RCA anticipate that the continued grounds for objection will result in a positive outcome for residents.
