Farrier Street, Worcester Housing Viability Assessment

RCA were instructed by Worcester City Council to assess the viability of a new office for Sanctuary Housing in Worcester to compliment and expand upon their existing facility immediately opposite the site. It was concluded that the scheme could not afford the contributions requested in respect of transport. The expansion of Sanctuary Housing within the Worcester was a politically important goal for the City Council and our appraisal demonstrated that the viability of the proposed scheme would be significantly compromised by the requested contributions.
