RCA Regeneration was approached by JJX Logistics to submit a retrospective change of use application for their premises on Cooper Street in Wolverhampton from a B1 Office use to a B8 Storage and Distribution use. RCA provide a Statement which identified national and local policies which supported the change of use. The Statement also assessed the site’s constraints and its impact upon the surrounding area and concluded that due to the established previous uses on the site and the predominantly industrial nature of the area that the change of use should be supported by the Local Authority. Permission was granted in March 2014.
