Preparation and submission of a planning objection on behalf of the Wychavon Parishes Action Group against the proposed 80,000 chicken broiler farm on land north east of Frog Hall Farm Bungalow near to Upton Snodsbury and North Piddle. The objection outlined the odour concerns, the impact on biodiversity of the nearby Piddle Brook, and the likelihood of flash flooding due to the close proximity of Flood Zone 2. Industrial farming on such large scale is alien to the area and an alternative site at Throckmorton Airfield was suggested whereby similar activity exists. Thanks to the support of local stakeholders and the help of RCA, the application was withdrawn.
