RCA were instructed on the site in 2022, which is situated in the Green Belt. RCA were involved from the outset and carried out a public consultation exercise and Parish meeting. 

Following amendments, RCA submitted and managed the application, later overcoming highways and landscape concerns. The Council approved the 200MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) application under delegated powers in 2024
