Helen Morris

Helen is the Director of RCA Regeneration’s East of England office. She has over 20 years experience in planning, having worked for various local authorities and within the private sector for Barton Willmore and Arup. Prior to joining RCA in 2021, Helen had been working for the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk for 12 years, as a Principal Planner for the north area team and prior to that as a Senior Planner for the south area of the Borough. As a result of her previous roles Helen has developed a well-rounded skill set working regularly on residential-led schemes, rural/agricultural development, tourism proposals for holiday sites and camping, retail planning and other commercial schemes. Given her local authority background she is able to provide sound advice to clients on what is likely to be achievable on a site. Helen particularly enjoys working on planning appeals and has extensive experience of all aspects of appeal work, including giving evidence at public inquiries. When not working, Helen enjoys tap dancing, loves to bake and has a passion for skiing.
