Joanne joined RCA in the summer of 2020 after working within the housing sector at Lioncourt Homes for over 13 years and has experience in both planning and design.
In recent years, Joanne has been more involved in the preparation and submission of planning applications, including compiling and creating supporting plans and reports to accompany the applications.
Being skilled in the use of Autocad, Archicad, Photoshop & InDesign Joanne can assist in the preparation and creation of all relevant drawings and documents required for any aspect of planning and development.
Before joining RCA Regeneration in 2020, I worked within the design and planning departments of a major housebuilder for 13 years. During that time, I gained experience in the preparation of the documentation and plans required for the submission of new build residential planning applications. I was also responsible for the submission and monitoring of discharge of conditions applications.
I completed a course in 2017 in architectural design for the use of Autocad and have more recently completed a course in 2024 in Archicad to enable me to assist our in house architect. I am also proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, both of which can be used to create various plans and reports to support clients’ planning applications. I also currently produce all the sales particulars for any land sales that we manage on behalf of our clients.
I produce on a regular basis all the necessary documents for in person and virtual Public Consultations and write the final Statement of Community Involvement reports which support the planning applications. I regularly assist other members of the planning team with Housing Needs Surveys and Health Impact Assessments along with various planning application submissions. I also track all current live applications on a weekly basis and update the relevant team members.
In January 2025 I completed an ISO Quality Services Internal Auditor course. This means I am now able to assist the Office Manager with internal audits to ensure all our current practices and processes are kept up to date and are working efficiently and correctly.
