RCA acted on behalf of Malvern Hills District Council to assess the viability of conjoined proposals in the village of Broadwas. Following lengthy discussions with the applicant it was decided that one of the sites would be dealt with as an allocated site with standard requirements for affordable provision and the other would be dealt with as a rural exceptions site with an appropriate level of open market cross subsidy. The culmination of the assessment was the granting of permission on both sites in accordance with policy and their subsequent development.
