Typical planning conditions associated with development applications include: Construction Traffic Management Plans – this is a document that sets out how you will service the site during construction and may require vehicle swept path analysis; Travel Plans – typically enforced on residential sites, a travel plan will usually be submitted with your application, though enforcement can be rare. This is an area where highway authorities are likely to tighten up control.
RCA can perform the surveys for the Travel Plan and set up events such as coffee mornings via our Neighbourhood Blueprint service. Data can then be analysed and a Travel Plan implemented by our specialists in travel plans; and Section 278 detailed design – if you have proposed a new access or other off-site works as part of your application, you will be required to submit detailed design drawings for approval prior to construction. RCA can assist in this process through professional partners and co-ordinating the responses.
